Johann Sebastian Bach (31 March 1685 – 28 July 1750) was a German composer of the Baroque period. His work is distinguished by intellectual, philosophical and emotional depth, as well as complex composition techniques, utilizing polyphonic structures and harmonic language ahead of his time.
