The Romanian development studio of Electronic Arts was opened in 2005. Located in Bucharest, the division started out by developing mobile games such as Medal of Honor, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Need for Speed: Carbon.
The company would gradually become involved with testing multiple Electronic Arts titles, and in the mid-2010s would become a (co-)developer of core console and PC titles in the EA Sports label.
