Lunar
Description
Lunar is the original Lunar Landing game. The player's aim is to successfully land a lander on the moon's surface. The game plays in turns which represent one second and is completely text-based. In each turn, the player is asked to determine the rock fuel burn rate, which can be between 0 and 200. The velocity, height above the surface, and remaining fuel are reported back to the player. The aim is to have a controlled landing and the player must make sure his velocity was not too high when the surface approaches and thus not run out of fuel prematurely. When the surface is reached the player is shown his remaining fuel and landing speed. If the player runs out of fuel the game continues with second to second updates, but no longer accepts input from the player.
