Candy Crush Saga
Description official description
Candy Crush Saga is a match-three game that uses candy as a central theme. It uses the classic Bejeweled gameplay with some added twists. Each level shows a grid with candy of different colours. Candies can be swapped with adjacent candies and when three or more of the same colour are in a row they are removed from the game, dropping in more candies. The goal is usually to hit a certain score within a limited amount of moves, but other levels include time limits or require the player to remove specific gelatine or chocolate covered squares on the grid or require special ingredients to be dropped to the lowest fields. Levels come in different shapes and sizes. Getting more than three in a row results in power-ups which allow for bigger scores and special abilities (e.g. remove all candies of a specific colour).
The player progresses on a game board where he or she can move back to revisit earlier levels and try to beat their previous score. The game is free to play, but limits the amount of "lives" the player has. Lives regenerate over time or can be bought back for actual money. There are also single use power ups that can be bought to have an edge in a level. Additionally the game features extensive Facebook integration. Players can compare high scores with friends. In order to progress players must ask Facebook friends to unlock further chapters for them (or pay for them).
